Sisters' Day will be held this coming Friday... 24th July, 2009. Read about it here. The guys will be going out of their way to indulge their sisters-in-Christ... This one's for the gals!
MYF meets every Friday evening. We start at 7.30 p.m. and ends by 9.30 p.m. It caters to the young people from as young as 13 years old. This past year has seen the attendance moving up despite the move from the Parsonage in Lorong Tiong to the new premise and we're greatly encouraged. Talks are given by our counselors and invited speakers.
The challenge for us:
for the young people not only to know God but to have a close walk with God
to have a good foundation in our faith and knowledge of the Word of God
to foster closer relationships among MYF'ers
to help the youths discover their giftings
to help the youths understand the importance of serving
to serve the community around us in order to make a difference in their lives
to emphasize the importance of prayer in our daily walk with God

Other activities include Camps such as Kedah Su Camp, NSCF Camp, Tweens Camp, YLDP and Jeremiah School.
Currently the counselors are Uncle Koay, Aunty Doreen and Aunty Peh Lan.
The MYF also has it own blog here. It's a place for the youths to interact, reconnect and pen their thoughts.
